We trained… beautiful day as well. Didn’t expect many, but a hey a few did show up!!! Ossssss!!

Congrats to Jrock on his weekend success!! 

Hope my kid takes to BJJ like him… he’s grown so much. Love watching him grow!!

Him and his dad barely miss the Sunday Jams!! train train train, your work will show!! shity with my working out of town in the summers…. but hey, I work so I can train lol. Winter is when I can train.

Even got some stretching, mat cleanliness and b-balling… yep always fun times when you have the gym to your self at 9:00 am lol…

We did a 15 min warm-up, then got the homies to rep out micro movements for the x-pass/knee-belly/spinning arm-bar, then reviewed a typical closed guard x-collar strangle, and then we rolled 2×10 min rounds.

Repped out x-pass to arm-bar a few times, then rolled 5×4 mins rounds with Josh and Justin.

Barn burning rounds lol… these young guys keep me on my toes lol.

Sooo what injuries?

Gotta get some kinda bjj in… training that is.

Thor ran the class. Warm-up was a bunch of various shrimps around the mat, back archw, and then head strengthening exercises. He then had us review the butterfly fly sweep while being flattened out and two collar grips, which then sequenced into an inverted straight arm lock…. great stuff!!

I partnered with Aussey Mike and we repped  it out like a million times.

Sometimes I feel lost, sometimes I feel uncomfortable, sometimes overwelmed, sometimes I wanna give up… like whats the point. No one cares… maybe it’s the injuries?

Reality is, the mat put’s me back together mentally… here and now. Just worrying about the moment. All you problems just melt away, when you are worrying about being choked. Just show up.

15 mins warm-up, 30 min drilling closed guard sweeps and chaining submissions, reviewed some technique, and then 6×5 mins rounds of rolling. It was Philippes bday a few days ago… so we kinda shark tanked him.

Fun slow mo roll with newer Mark lol!!

Either way, keep showing up… I do lol.

Just make sure to take time off when injured or you just keep injuring yourself!!
